We have an immediate opening for a Media Supervisor in our Overland Park, KS office. This position is responsible for managing integrated media planning needs across a portfolio of travel industry accounts. MMGY media team members possess a strong curiosity to learn, are creative and collaborative thinkers to ensure delivery of new media solutions, and must have a drive to deliver maximum and efficient value for our client's media investments. Knowledge across digital, traditional, social and B2B channels is preferred. MMGY is looking for a collaborative, team player with a strong work ethic and aptitude for learning more about data driven marketing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning

Own day to day client relationship as media lead on a portfolio of clients
Develops strategic and tactical media recommendations for clients
Complete understanding and mastered skills as it relates to media planning across all integrated media channels working closely with channel leads
Strategically contribute to client planning meetings
Lead innovative planning strategies- vet and pitch proactive ideas to client portfolio, selling and educating both internal teams and client
Experience leveraging data for media solutions and familiarity with complex programmatic solutions
Present and oversee integrated media plan development, recommendations, evaluation and ongoing optimizations and insights for the internal team and client.
Develop media mix recommendations leveraging media research tools
Identify new innovative opportunities and latest media technologies
Own ongoing client POVs
Assist with new business (as needed)

Campaign Oversight

Oversight of media team members to ensure effective negotiations, launch and optimizations run smoothly, running as key point person for internal and external teams
Monitor performance of client performance, proactively identifying opportunities for testing
Responsible for strategic vision for media performance and tagging strategy
Provide day-to-day supervision and mentorship of junior staff members
Staying informed of best practices and innovative solutions with regard to media planning, placement, tracking and reporting

Team Management

Proven experience managing junior staff members
Maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients, and within the agency for ongoing collaboration

Experience & Skills Needed:

Minimum 5+ years media planning or relevant marketing experience:
Strategic media planning background across digital and traditional media
Proficiency using media tech and media research tools
Resourcefulness; strong ability to look for answers and solutions
Strong presentation skills
Experience with Travel considered a plus
