Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a new direct hire opportunity with a company in Irvine, CA. This role will be 100% on-site and operates in a small department along with an Accounting Clerk and outside CPA resource. The ideal candidate can come from corporate accounting, small/medium size CPA firms, or Business Management firms.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting duties for multiple entities within the company structure
- Maintain financial spreadsheets with ERP system and MS Excel
- Manage mortgage and loan files and accounts
- Assist with month end close and preparing financial statements and reports
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and cash flow analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Strong fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- 5+ years of Accounting experience or more desired
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Ability to work independently, and serve in solo Accountant capacity
