Job Description
Immediately hiring a Staff Accountant in Rutherford, NJ! Interested in gaining corporate Accounting experience in the exciting world of Media? With a promote from within philosophy, their team is seeking to hire and develop a Staff Accountant to build a career in the industry. You will be responsible for month end closing and reconciliation process, as well as daily accounting processes. Responsibilities
- Prepare daily cash reports
- Management of full account analysis files
- Assist accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with yearly financial audit and prepare audit schedules
- Work with internal teams to ensure GAAP compliance across all departments
- Responsible for revenue and expense accounts
- Handle bank reconciliations
- Chargeback management - research, response and entries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Organized and reliable with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
