Construction Field Manager

Our client is seeking a Construction Field Manager to join their team! You will monitor activities at commercial construction sites. Works to ensure construction progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects construction progress as scheduled and that contract specifications are adhered to.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Typically supervise 1-3 direct reports
• Inspects construction site daily and works with subcontractors, Architects, Engineers and Owners
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Requires 6-15 years experience in the construction field
• Familiarity with construction management software, CAD, Procore, etc
• Creating and monitoring "look ahead" schedules, posting updated drawings and performing Quality Control Audits
• Hosting foreman's meetings, and constructability reviews
• Host PreConstruction meetings, scheduling city and special inspections
• Sending notices and maintain project documentation
• Must be deadline and detail-oriented
