Job Description

CasinoTech is a 25+, family owned, electronics distribution company operating in the casino gaming industry. Headquartered in Tomball, TX. Generating $12-15M in annual sales, licensed and selling in every gaming state with over four hundred active customers.

 

POSITION:

Director of Business Operations

 

COMPENSATION:

From $100,000.00 Annually + Bonus

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for carrying forward the vision of the company, and as goals are met, to evolve the vision. Tasked to work with department heads to effectively organize their departments and efforts in pursuit of that vision. Will also work with Operations and Human Resources to make sure all management team members are supported while working and growing in an effective and efficient manner, and to maintain an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. Lastly, he/she will work with Sales and Marketing to maximize the revenue while working with Finance and Accounting to make sure the company is fully audited, protected and receiving proper ROI in all expense areas.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Business Operations will have three fundamental areas of focus.

1) Transformational Growth: Strategy and Development

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish set professional goals
  • Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, market share who contribute to developing and maintaining a positive culture
  • Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
  • Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
  • Develop long-term growth and profitability strategy for the Business Transformation Practice including mission, points of view, offerings, competitor analysis, and pricing
  • Drive revenue and profitability for the Company, create opportunities for recurring revenue
  • Envision/cross-sell across all departments and department heads
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership team to advance or close opportunities across all regions

2) Profitability: Negotiation and Conflict Management

  • Develop, review and approve all Best Practices, SOPs with the Operations and other Department Managers to ensure a mutual understanding of expectations, resource allocation, and profitability
  • Work with Operations Managers to identify successes and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage P&L/Business Analysis
  • Continual Process Improvement
  • Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved partnering with Human Resources

3) Visionary Leadership

  • Understand, sell and drive the vision and mission
  • Mission Continuity
  • Succession Planning
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to drive an integrated business approach, provide opportunities for team members to learn and grow and work with HR to build a pipeline of candidates, contractors, and partners
  • Lead operations in strategic “big picture, long-term” planning
  • Foster innovation by proposing novel approaches, methods, or technologies

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • 15+ years as Director or General Manager in a Distribution environment
  • 10+ years of experience in project strategy and implementation, Project Management and/or Program Management, Transformational Leadership
  • Advanced level of knowledge in business process design and optimization, organizational effectiveness, and digital transformation
  • Proven success and experience owning, executing, and managing projects
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen
  • Strong business development skills and working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Ability to inspire confidence, possession of engaging people skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
  • Adaptability
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
