LOT PORTER/ JANITOR

We are currently hiring for a combined role of Automotive Dealership Lot Porter/Janitor. This versatile position involves maintaining the cleanliness of our building and lot, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our staff and customers.

Janitorial Duties:

• Clean, sanitize, and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.).
• Collect and dispose of trash throughout the day.
• Perform and document routine cleaning and inspection activities.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Clean and restock the coffee bar & coffee machine
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Lot Porter Duties:

• Transport vehicles to and from pickup/drop-off locations.
• Wash and prepare vehicles for pickup.
• Transport vehicles to and from service drive and parking lot as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car lot, service drive, and customer parking areas.
• Quality inspect vehicles out of detail and service.
• Maintain the organization of the service drive and customer parking.
• Transport sold vehicles to detail for customers.
• Valet customer vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a janitor, custodian, housekeeper.
• Ability to handle specialized equipment relevant to janitorial duties.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Great attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Professional appearance and friendliness towards staff and customers.
• Lot attendant, porter, or valet experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
