Job Description

Wastequip mobile division Amrep is looking for a Receiving Specialist for our Salisbury, NC location who will be responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receipt, identification, dispatch, and quality assurance of products.

Starting pay: $16.50/HR

Responsibilities

Unload, receive, identify and stock product.
Ensure order accuracy vs dispatch list and updates system
Organize and carry out inventory maintenance and storage area.
Identify areas for improvement in warehouse area, establish innovative work practices and procedures or adapt existing ones.
Continually update MRP/ERP Systems (BAP) with accurate information.
Participate in 5S and promote Safety culture for warehouse area.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Customer Service oriented
1-2 years prior experience working in a manufacturing industry, lean manufacturing and process improvement tools
Demonstrated experience working with inventory systems
Extensive forklift driving experience is preferred
Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
Excellent communication skills
