2nd Shift Surface Grinder Operator

We are quickly growing and currently hiring for a full-time Surface Grinder Operator that could take this position to the next level!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Sets up machines according to assigned job using hand tools such as wrenches, socket sets and coil handling materials
• Assures material meets correct specifications of each job as stated on traveler
• Reads and follows blueprints to meet specifications
• Notifies management as problems occur during job process
• Reads and follows job production information on the set up sheet
• Demonstrates knowledge of machine speeds and feeds

Do You Have?

• One - three years in surface grinding experience
• Proficient in math related to simple grinding operations.
• Proficient in problem solving/3 dimensional reasoning.
• Proficient in basic blue print reading/can work from written instruction.
• Interacts well with others; team player.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal; includes legible handwriting.
• Proficient in basic shop measuring tools. (calipers, micrometer, height gauge)
• Must be detail orientated, self motivated, and be able to see projects to completion
