IT Support Specialist

Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring efficient and effective operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to IT support.
Essential Functions

- Understand and work with a Help Ticket support system.
- Investigate, diagnose, and solve IT hardware and software issues or other service requests.
- Provide technical training and support for company employees as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Maintain and assure confidentiality of data.

- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems
- Up to date on the latest IT hardware and software trends
- Willingness and ability to learn and to support other software applications as required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to complete complex tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience working in an IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Experience with IT network administration, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365 beneficial but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
