Select-Arc, Inc., an industry leader in tubular welding electrodes, is looking for a Welding Lab Technician for our Fort Loramie, Ohio location. The Weld Technician's main responsibility is to evaluate welding characteristics to ensure products produced meet the requirements set forth by industry standards and our quality system. This includes but is not limited to conducting tests and experiments, evaluating data, recording inspection and test results, and anything else that is needed. Hours will be 8am – 4pm.
Duties
- Weld lab sample preparation
- Returned material evaluations
- Final product inspections and evaluations
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Coordinating with the Quality Manager to achieve company quality goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Welding Certification
- 3 years experience welding
- Good Communication and listening skills
- Ability to resolve technical issues
- Understand industry specifications
- Basic computer skills
