Job Description

ABM Industries is in search of a HVAC Technician located in Irvine, CA.

Starting Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Only candidates that meet the requirements below will be considered for this role.

1. Maintain professionalism at all times with co-workers, contractors and customers.
2. Assist team with overall daily operations, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance requirements of building.
3. Respond, prioritize, complete, and follow-up on customer service requests per Company policy. Utilize work order system per Company policy.
4. Primary service request types: HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.
5. Perform or assist with general maintenance service requests when required.
6. Perform troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Energy Management systems/components.
7. Perform or assist with general maintenance tasks as required.
8. Use of energy management system
9. Ability to read building and system plans
10. Perform HVAC equipment operational checks/logs as required.
11. Perform fire pump(s) and/or emergency generator(s) run tests as required.
12. Understand water treatment process, perform testing and report findings to supervisor.
13. Order parts and supplies as required; maintain stock and inventory control.
14. Coordinate maintenance efforts with contractors and technicians as directed by supervisor.
15. Inspect buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions.
16. Report all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
17. Share knowledge and train co-workers on troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
18. Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe manner.
19. Complete other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned.
20. Respond quickly to emergency situations.
21. Perform duties in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations and standards of all agencies having jurisdiction.
22. Comply with Company policies, procedures and directives.
23. Performs other duties or projects as assigned or requested.
24. Rotate on-call responsibilities with the team.
25. Support after hours/weekend work as necessary.

Requirements:

HVAC/R: 5 years (Required)
EPA Certification (Required)
