Automation/Manual QA Tester (Playwright w/ C#)

A leading, stable and very fast-growing company in the Cannabis industry is currently hiring an Automation/Manual QA Tester with direct experience using Playwright with C#. The Automation QA Tester (AQAT) will assess software quality through both manual and automated testing using Playwright/C#. They are responsible for ensuring the code is working as intended and finding and reporting bugs, glitches, and missing acceptance criteria. The AQAT will regularly attend scrums and help the developers test and certify the code they have written in that sprint. This is a remote-work position, but occasional company-provided travel to the corporate office (<_ 10%_) is required for onboarding and training. Candidates must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Green Card holder currently living in the U.S in eastern or central time zones. No visa sponsorship now or any time in the future.

Job Duties:

• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including developing test plans, test cases, manual testing, automation, and execution of test scripts.
• Collaborate with lead developers to create effective testing strategies and plans.
• Develop automated tests with Playwright in C# to augment manual testing.
• Document software issues and enhancement requests and assist development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of the problem.
• Troubleshoot and correct test script issues when necessary.
• Evaluate code according to specifications and standards.
• Run manual and automated regression tests to evaluate system changes and analyze the results with lead developer and scrum team.
• Report bugs and errors to the development team in scrums and assist in reproducing issues with developers.
• Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post release testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Locate and manipulate test data.
• Ensure all software products meet the highest quality possible by following industry recognized Q/A methodologies and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as QA tester with experience in both manual testing and working as a QA automation engineer
• Hands-on experience developing automated tests with Playwright in C#
• Experience designing and developing automated testing and writing test plans and cases
• Experience in QA methodology
• Experience in Agile frameworks and working in Scrum teams
• Experience with Regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software. Working knowledge of postman a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area preferred, not required
• Must be available for occasional (less than 10%) travel for onboarding & training
