Our client is looking Lead Automation Engineer (Playwright) in Warren, NJ (Hybrid) below is the detailed requirements.

Job Title: Lead Automation Engineer (Playwright)
Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid) - (3 days Onsite)
Duration: Long term

 Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 12+ Years of relevant experience.
  • Min 3+ years of hands on production-grade experience with Playwright (Typescript preferred).
  • Experience in Typescript/JavaScript: familiarity with Java, Html, CSS Python, Micro services, or C# is a plus.
  • Experience in Playwright: Test Runners, fixtures, projects, Parallelization and worker management, auto-waiting, locators, role-based selectors, and resilient test design, Playwright API testing, network mocking, request interception, and route handling and Playwright Experimental Component Testing or similar.
  • Experience in Testing types & Tools: Playwright API Request, REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or Super test, Cucumber, Playwright-BDD, Spec Flow, or Behave, JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Locust. Playwright accessibility checks, Lighthouse CI, Playwright snapshots, Percy, Applitools, or Chromatic. Playwright mobile emulation, Appium, or Browser Stack App Live (nice to have).
  • Experience in Quality Engineering Practices:  Test pyramid, contract testing (Pact), and shift-left/shift-right testing, test data management, synthetic data generation, and environment management, SDLC, defect lifecycle, and tools like Jira, X-ray, Zephyr, TestRail, or qTes, flagging and progressive delivery (Launch Darkly, Unleash) for safe rollouts.
  • Should have experience in CI/CD Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS/Azure deployments and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated domains — Insurance, BFSI, or Healthcare.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex billing issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
