Job Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing. Leverage AI and modern test practices to enable in-sprint automation, continuous integration, and full end-to-end validation of AWS components and event-driven architectures. Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve test coverage, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO).
  • Utilize AI and MCP-based tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI assistants) to accelerate automation, debugging, and optimization.
  • Implement in-sprint automation with developers and product teams.
  • Develop API automation for microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS).
  • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, implement quality gates, smoke, and regression tests.
  • Test end-to-end behavior of AWS components including events, triggers, data flows, and integrations.
  • Apply modern testing practices: contract testing, component testing, visual diff testing, accessibility scans.
  • Participate in story grooming and design reviews to ensure shift-left quality.
  • Produce test documentation, automation architecture diagrams, dashboards, and reports.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in Playwright and Selenium frameworks.
  • Strong experience in API automation and microservices testing.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
  • Experience integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Knowledge of modern automation testing practices.
  • Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools for automation efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
