iOS Software Engineer

Essential Job Functions:

Position responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Develop and deliver robust and safe iOS applications for medical devices, from the concept phase through design, implementation, unit testing and integration
• Collaborate with engineers in UX, embedded software, verification, and other fields to build innovative solutions and ensure requirements and specifications are met
• Help plan projects – scope and timelines
• Design, implement, unit test and integrate software
• Participate in the formal release process for medical devices satisfying quality and regulatory requirements
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with Smartphone Application development
• 3+ years of experience with the Swift programming language
• Ability to design user interfaces for a wide range of devices, screen sizes
• Hands-on experience releasing an iOS app to TestFlight or App Store
• Experience with unit and integration testing

Skills:

• Application test automation
• BLE communication
• Git, package managers, Swift, Java, Gradle
• Experience in the Medical device industry (IEC 62304) or other highly regulated industry
• 
  

Physical:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on several factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their dependents, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a generous PTO policy, and new hire stock options.
