Job Description
Needing to fill a contract assignment - April 24 - Sept 2, 2024 (with the possibility of an extension). Pay rate $18/hr
- Performs general facility sanitation, housekeeping, maintenance repairs, and office moves as directed.
- Provides assistance to all other maintenance staff and works as part of team while performing duties.
- Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 30lbs.
- Maintain and control the floor scrubber program.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
- The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature deviations.
- Works closely with and supports the Maintenance Lead.
- May be required to work on off shifts and/or weekends.
- Must be available for call in activity.
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be directed by management depending on work priorities.
- Must be able to work independently or within a team environment
- Must have a broad knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Job requires a high degree of reliability.
- Two (2+) year of experience in facility sanitation, housekeeping, and general maintenance repairs preferred.
