Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team! You will transcribe medical reports by physicians in real time on ZOOM calls. Thus no travel is needed, just a reliable internet connection.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe reports from two physician specialists in a Pain treatment Clinic for Children and young Adults
- Translate abbreviations into proper form
- Review reports for completeness
- Correct errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation and spelling
Qualifications:
- 5 years Previous experience in medical transcription or other related fields in real/ virtual environment
- Familiarity with real time entry/ writing onto a TEMPLATE we provide
- Familiarity with medical terminology and WORD processing program
- Strong attention to detail
Whole Child LA is a national resource for complicated patients with chronic, ongoing pain not responding to the usual therapies.
