Visionary Electrical Solutions, Inc. (VES), a division of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc., is a newly formed company focused on the prefabrication of electrical systems for the commercial construction market. Although the company is newly formed, the staff is composed of industry professionals that pioneered the business; the staff have over 15 years of direct industry experience and have completed hundreds of projects throughout the United States. Critical to the successful operation of the business, this position demands that the successful candidate execute their responsibilities in an expeditious manner, always with the understanding that time is of the essence. This is a multi-faceted position that will be responsible for the following aspects of the operation:

• Purchasing/material acquisition. Working with our production management and engineering team, forecasting materials needs to coincide with shipping schedules. Training will be provided so the successful candidate can interpret output from our manufacturing software so that they are able to order materials as required. We are not seeking a clerk to place orders, rather, an individual that makes purchases as if it is their money they are spending; negotiation skills and experience are required.
• Transportation/Logistics: The successful candidate will be responsible for researching cost-effective and timely transportation methods to both bring materials to our facility and to ship finished goods to our customers. You will be trained to use various tools that provide information to assist in the most favorable options weighing cost and transit times.
• Inventory: Responsible for inventory control, max/min ordering limits and working with the corporate team to ensure operational costs are properly reported; will supervise cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the electrical contracting or distribution business is helpful but not mandatory to be considered.
• Must have outstanding computer skills.
• Must be reliable and have the ability to work with other department managers.
• Must be a team player and a proactive problem solver.
• Must be able to work independently.
