POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will require up to 40% travel throughout New Mexico.

Hiring Compensation Range: $80,00 - $120,000 (compensation determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

This role is Responsible for all aspects of construction on projects including managing the site and A&E designs, permitting, vendor selection, on-site CX management, coordination of general contractors, OEM installers and project representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively participate in and make recommendations in vendor selection process.
  • Attending deployment and other meetings as subject matter expert.
  • Make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walk, preconstruction walk, in progress site visits, punch walks and construction closeout. Provide direction to general contractors when doing groundwork.
  • Plan and enforce project completion deadlines through managing general contractors, materials, and entitlements.
  • Work closely with the Real Estate team during all aspect of the projects.
  • Submit building permit applications with jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with a jurisdiction's civil construction inspector and permitting offices.
  • Responsible for negotiation of costs within scope of project(s), ensuring management of vendor budget, and that Project Managers are aware of issues that will impact project completion or cost.
  • Responsible for problem solving issues that may occur onsite and making recommendations based on priority and need to ensure the project and budget are maintained.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the company construction standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate closeout documents are distributed in a timely manner and are in accordance with corporate and customer standards.
  • Ensure that all jobs are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy.
  • Act as company safety observer and quality assurance representative while at the site ensuring compliance with company safety program and related workmanship practices.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 5-7 years field experience as well as a minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience with wireless/tower construction and managing general contractors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (read and build trackers a must), and Google Earth.
  • Must know how to read and comprehend construction drawings, MOPs and SOWs.
  • Need to be able to create material lists using construction drawings.
  • Must know industry safety standards and regulations and enforce them on all construction sites.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and commit to long term onsite assignments.
  • Willing to work in extreme temperatures, as well as able to stoop, stand, sit and lift equipment up to 70lbs.
  • Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing RF Sweep test, OTDR, Power Meter and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing for SCS.
  • Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Knowledge of budget development and execution.
  • Knowledge of construction management process.
  • Knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting processes.
  • Knowledge of Cell radios, antennas, and hub-end equipment
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and surveys.
  • Ability to direct and diagnose workflow problems, critical paths, and institute remedies.
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach - strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills - MS office and project management software knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hiring Compensation Range: $80,00 - $120,000 (compensation determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan/sign on bonus/relocation assistance.
