HVAC Project Sales Engineer - Commercial - Owner Direct
Lor-Mar Mechanical Services is a provider of HVAC mechanical, plumbing and controls systems solutions for large Commercial/Industrial buildings serving the greater Philadelphia, Eastern Pennsylvania and South New Jersey markets. Lor-Mar is based in Pennsauken NJ.
As an experienced Sales Representative, you will be to promoting the sale of solution based HVAC repair and replacement projects and new service agreements to Commercial, Industrial and Institutional customers.
The successful individual will be responsible for working with new and existing customers to identify, promote and quote equipment and control systems upgrades and replacements that reduce energy consumption, reduce maintenance costs, and improve operational reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems and should have demonstrated track record in quoting and closing high dollar value technical sales proposals for commercial, industrial and institutional accounts. The successful candidate must be highly motivated with a passion for relationship building and gaining new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify & assess project sale opportunities within the existing customer base and initiate contact with potential new customers with similar opportunities
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations to customers
- Generate proposals for HVAC equipment & system upgrades and replacements as well as preventive maintenance proposals
- Develop additional technical skills through on-going training and education
Experience and Education Required:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years successful track record selling technical services in a B2B environment
QUALIFICATIONS (including Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, organization, and customer communication
- Be able to work independently as well as successfully with the service team
