GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude or draw out elastomeric pipes and sheets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (UNDER SUPERVISION)
● Learn to operate machines that require some set up and decision making.
● Performs routine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
● Executes the production plan.
● Performs operations with specific detailed instructions and directions.
● Print Tooling Sheet
● Ability to use pi tape, Calipers and tape measures
● Follows SOPs to ensure that product specifications are adhered to as related to product quality and packaging requirements.
● Learn how to test different fila’s in the oven.
● Ensure that product is in specification.
● Constantly monitor the oven process.
● Learn and understand the different masterbatch formulations and chemical reactions.
● Learn to check curve batches from rheometric for startup.
● Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
● Zero to one year of experience as an oven operator in a rubber manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience and general holistic knowledge of full continuous line manufacturing process highly preferred.

● High attention to detail.
● Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and SOP information.
● Ability to perform basic math calculations.
● Ability to communicate in a manufacturing environment.
● Possess the ability to work effectively with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
● Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 55 lbs.
● Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull. Will stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
● Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, and loud noise.
