HVAC Service Technician

Keller Services Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our team! Our Service Technicians diagnose all aspects of the HVAC system and any problems, offer the customer options and pricing for repairs, order parts from the supply house, and collect payment while providing excellent service and peace of mind.

Job Responsibilities:

The HVAC Service Technician diagnoses and solves HVAC issues accurately, efficiently, and thoroughly, performs repairs and maintenance on various HVAC equipment, and offers comfort, indoor air quality, and energy-saving solutions for the customer.

• Run service and routine maintenance calls.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Properly record all maintenance functions.
• Comply with service standards and compliance.
• Complete all paperwork that Keller Services requires promptly and accurately.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory.
• Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep an organized and clean truck.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC, including maintenance, diagnosing & troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues.
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
• EPA Universal and TDLR.
• Mechanical aptitude, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule.
• Knowledge of subcool and superheat.
• Being bilingual is a plus but optional.
• Must be able to follow directions and adhere to company policies.
• Must be able to pass background/drug screenings.
• Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environments and extreme weather conditions.
