Garden Center Horticultural Assistant / Back up Delivery Driver

Full-Time Position

4 Days Mon-Friday, Must work Saturdays

You will also become familiar with plant pests and diseases to assist in maintaining the health of our large inventory of plants.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist our receiving team with receiving, tagging, and placing new plant material
• Assist our Sales and Orders team with pulling, flagging, and tagging plant material that has been sold
• Help keep all sales fields merchandised and clean from debris, weeds, and any material that may not be retail quality
• Assist our plant care techs with watering as needed
• Assist customers with loading plant material into their vehicles and/or trailers
• Occassionally assist a customer who may be looking for particular plants 
• Assist the Delivery Driver with loading up our box truck with deliveries
• When needed be the Delivery Driver to deliver the plant material

• Able to handle physical activity such as lifting, loading, and unloading large plants.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  
• Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean record
