Senior Business Analyst

Element6's client in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BA roles, specifically focusing on application and system configuration projects. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering system configuration requirements, bridging the gap between technology and business needs, and ensuring successful project delivery through effective communication and collaboration. This is a hybrid role and requires every Tuesday to be onsite in Brookfield.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document system configuration requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of objectives and requirements.
• Participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring that configured systems meet business needs and specifications.
• Manage project issues, risks, and changes, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks to project success.
• Develop project scope and requirements documents, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure projects are on track and deadlines are met.
• Provide timely communication on project status, issues, risks, and changes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Utilize excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions, negotiate solutions, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analyst roles, preferably with a focus on application and system configuration projects.
• Proven experience gathering and documenting system configuration requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and drive consensus.
• Natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
