Daycare Teacher

We're on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team at our daycare. As a Child Care Worker, you'll play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and secure environment where children can flourish. Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 - 40 per week

Responsibilities:

- Cultivate a positive and engaging learning atmosphere for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through interactive play and educational tasks
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive learning environment
- Implement effective behavior management strategies as needed
- Uphold the cleanliness and organization of both the classroom and daycare facility

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare is preferred
- Sound understanding of childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine affection for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)

Schedule:

- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends

Experience:

Teaching: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

Kings Mountain, NC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
