Job Description

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Coordinator will work with and report to the Senior Supply Chain Manager to coordinate all logistical operations in North America, focusing primarily on our domestic supply chain. The primary responsibilities include order fulfillment, tracking inbound shipments, managing, overseeing inventory management, and generating reports to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse performance. This role contributes to the development and implementation of short and long-term plans aimed at meeting company objectives and enhancing overall performance, collaborating closely with both the Senior Supply Chain Manager and Director of Operations to ensure accurate order delivery from our warehouse.

 

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000
Compensation will be proportionate to candidates' experience and qualifications.

 

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage process flow and priorities, emphasizing the improvement of efficiencies and quality to ensure inventory accuracy and timely product delivery to customers.
  • Communicate effectively with department leads and internal/external customers.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of customer purchase orders with the warehouse.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy per established objectives.
  • Establish and conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories as required by established policies, procedures, and corporate objectives.
  • Investigate inventory variance root causes and lead efforts to rectify processes.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure ERP systems and reporting adequately support departmental activities.
  • Address shipping and warehouse issues affecting operations.
  • Foster a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
     

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including cycle counting, physical inventories, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration between departments.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, transportation logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing 3PL vendors and negotiating terms.
  • Strong data/analytical skills, with experience developing tools, dashboards, and reports.
     

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively manage inventory.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Detail-oriented individual with a high energy level.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize ongoing projects.
  • Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and/or ERP Systems; familiarity with Business Central is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central
  • Thorough understanding of distribution functions and associated financial aspects.
  • Experience with international shipping requirements to support import/export of products.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
     

Work Environment and Expectations:

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. While our standard working hours are typically 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, we understand the importance of accommodating different time zones due to our global teams and operations.

As such, you may find yourself collaborating with our international offices in Sweden during the early hours before their closure or occasional evening work may be necessary to finalize communications with our warehouse in Los Angeles, California, or coordinate international shipments with our office in Taiwan.

We value work-life balance and strive to provide flexibility to our employees so remote work arrangements are available, offering the freedom to work from the comfort of your own space. However, for larger projects or important meetings, we may request your presence in the office. Rest assured, your own dedicated office space will be provided if you opt to work from the office more than three days a week.

Travel:

There are one or two trips per year to Los Angeles, California, for warehouse audits.
