Web Developer - Mid

JLAN Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Web Developer - Mid to support the department of transportation (DOT) . The individual will have to Develop and maintain websites and web applications using a combination of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Provides content administration on multiple Content Management System platforms, including Drupal and SharePoint, by publishing, updating, and removing content as needed.

Responsibilities

• • Provides technical expertise in the development and application of methods, theories, and analyses of defined application specifications and designs complex programs.
  • Plans, conducts, technically staff in their performance. Prepares associated documentation, block diagrams, and logic flowcharts. For debugging program errors.
  • Modifies existing programs as required by changing systems requirements requirements, and input data acquisition.
  • Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or approved customer objectives.
  • Proposes website strategies and creates action plans and applications to database gateways, and implements electronic commerce services. carry out strategies and accomplish objectives.
  • Customizes web-based interactive features, builds services.
  • Designs, develops, and analyzes software programs.
  • Designs and develops web sites based on or equipment configurations.
  • Confers with systems personnel to clarify program intent, output
  • Prepares sample test data, conducts program tests, and analyzes test results; recommends corrections directs, and/or evaluates projects, possibly managing the efforts of other engineers or technical support research techniques in the investigation and solution of software applications.
  • Creates graphic media using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Develops and maintains Acrobat forms using Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer.
  • content editors and subject matter experts to act as contributors and publishers on supported CMS platforms.
  • Directly engages with customers to scope and document their requirements for web projects or content publications and provides them with clear, professional communication, whether written or verbal.
  • Writes technical documentation for supported systems.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in Systems Engineering, Programming, or as a Web Developer

Preferred/Desired

• Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL
• Apply thorough knowledge of varying browsers, platforms, and devices to create durable and responsive front-end code
• Collaborate with a development team on extending a suite of rapid application development tools that rely on PHP, SQL, JavaScript (with extensive AJAX/XHR), CSS, and HTML
• Provide content administration on all agency platforms (Drupal, SharePoint, and non-CMS intranet) by publishing, updating, and removing content as needed
• Create graphic media such as web templates, imagery, and logos using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Develop and maintain Acrobat forms using Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer
• Train content editors to be self-sufficient contributors and publishers on the Drupal and SharePoint platforms
• Write technical documentation for supported systems
• Contribute strategic input to long-term solution stack and infrastructure decisions
