About the Role

The Maternal Health Coach will work closely with pregnant women and new mothers to provide comprehensive support throughout their maternal journey as part of Finity’s Maternal Health Coaching Program, BabySmart. This role is 100% remote via in-home office. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in maternal health and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of mothers and their babies. This role is currently anticipated to be 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide personalized coaching and support to pregnant women and new mothers via remote platforms.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to Finity’s BabySmart members throughout their pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum period.
• Assist in connecting families to pregnancy, postpartum and related health resources.
• Educate participants on topics related to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
• Assist participants in setting and measuring pregnancy health goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist members with navigating the BabySmart portal and ordering catalog items.
• Manage multiple software interfaces for different programs.
• Follow best practices regarding HIPAA laws and protection of PHI.

Hours: Monday - Friday, during Pacific Standard Time business hours. Open to discuss candidate part-time availability in interview.

Salary: $21-23 per hour

As a part-time role, this position is not eligible for benefits. There is potential for eventual growth into a full-time role depending on program needs.

• At least 1+ years of experience providing doula or maternal health services
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Strong familiarity or interest in matters relevant to maternal health
• Flexibility to work with different programs and interfaces
• Must be comfortable with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to remain professional and composed during each call
• Great attendance record and punctuality
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM
• Must have intermediate proficiency with MS Office.
