Job Description:
American Staffing is currently recruiting for ASC Certified Automotive Fleet Repair Technicians on behalf of our client, a leading provider in the automotive repair industry specializing in fleet repair, including fleet trucks and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles, including basic electrical, basic diesel, and basic HVAC systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
Complete routine service tasks such as oil changes, tire changes, and brake inspections both in the shop and on-site using company-equipped trucks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers regarding repair status and recommendations.
Uphold high standards of professionalism, customer service, and quality workmanship at all times.
Requirements:
ASE Certified.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (driving background check required).
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed (shift hours are flexible).
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in automotive repair or related field.
Must pass a 4-panel drug screening.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Starting Pay:$24-29 Based on experience.
