Job Description

BIG O TIRES is looking for an experienced Mobile Tire / Service Technicians to work on our mobile fleet program throughout the Sacramento / Folsom market. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service.

This position will service the Folsom and East Sacramento area; however, the role will require daily travel within the region directed by Mobile Tire Dispatch team. Responsibilities:

Perform apprentice level work in the inspection, repair, and service of cars and light trucks.
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools including tire changers and balancing equipment
Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
Perform other related duties as assigned
Help maintain cleanliness of vehicles
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Communicate professionally with customers and other stakeholders
Support other Mobile Service technicians and BIG O TIRE Service Centers as needed
Daily regional travel

Job Requirement:

Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicle
Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle report) and meet insurance compliance
Available to work multiple shifts: (4am -noon) (6pm -2am)
Proven experience in tire mounting, balancing tires and tire repair
Perform basic Brake replacement procedures as needed
Trade school training/ ASEs a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle
Must be 21 or older
