Printing Pressroom Manager

JOB OPPORTUNITY IS LOCATED IN NV. COMPANY PROVIDES A GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG.

Premier offset and digital printing company in Nevada is searching to hire a day shift Pressroom Manager to oversee offset printing operations.
Responsibilities include:

• Direct, lead and monitor 40" sheetfed printing operations over 2 shifts.
• Schedule employees and presses to maximize production output.
• Quality and on-time production of printed products.
• Ensure that Continuous Improvement Practices are adhered to and monitored.
• Work closely with production department managers and plant management to ensure jobs are meeting and/or exceeding client expectations.
• Work closely with first line pressroom supervision/Leads to ensure production and quality levels are being met and assist with any production issues.
• Research equipment and processes that will improve production efficiencies.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages development and learning.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience managing offset sheetfed pressroom operations.
• Proven track record using Lean Mfg. or Continuous Improvement Practices in a printing environment to improve efficiencies and reduce waste and down times.
• Strong technical knowledge of offset sheetfed printing.; UV and aqueous inks/coatings preferred.
• Experience working in a high quality print manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and decision making skills.
• Excellent employee relationship mentoring and team building experience.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• PC proficient.

Starting salary range $90,000 - $110,000 + benefits, 401k match and generous relocation pkg.
