Our client is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Account Manager for their Miami site to manage the day-to-day interaction with the customers, frequently serve as a combination of a salesperson, technical specialist and financial advisor.

Salary $ 60,000 to 70,000 annually

Requirements

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients utilizing generator services.
• Troubleshoot engines; Kohler, Cummins, Cat, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, Doosan, MTU & Volvo
• Understanding of the technical aspect of the generator's services offered
• Provide clients the technical insights and expertise related to generator maintenance, repair, and performance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, engines including transfer switches and/or switch gear
• Create strategic account plans to align with client needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with clients to schedule and plan preventive maintenance for their generators.
• Negotiate service contracts with clients, outlining terms for maintenance, repairs, and emergency services.
• Work closely with clients to manage spare parts inventory for their generators.

Must have:

• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience with 3-5 years working in an Account Manager role.
• Strategic and tactical thinker.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in time management.
• Computer skills to include use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.
• Strong mechanical skills
