LABORER & APPRENTICE CARPENTERS

EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Northwest Framing Systems is looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Laborer or Apprentice Carpenter. This role requires that you come to work prepared to work and learn in unison. A Laborer or Apprentice’s responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, and observing all health and safety codes. Since this is a labor intensive role our Apprentices will need to be able to lift or carry up to (but never more than) 50lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Keep jobsite, conex and tool trailers clean and organized from debris
-Bringing tools or materials to the Apprentices, Journeyman or Foreman as requested
-Become familiar with and follow safety policies and procedures
-Covering materials to protect them from weather elements
-Install miscellaneous hardware
-Sorting and stacking material
-Prep wall packs for a framer to come in and build
-Use power tools to frame walls, floors, and roofs
-Assist Journeyman Carpenter to complete construction tasks
-Learn and practice essential carpentry skills on the job
-Will demonstrate skills in the safe operation of hand of power tools
-Prep wall packs for a framer to come in and build it
-Install miscellaneous hardware
-Sorting and stacking material
-Assist with Demolition and debris disposal
-Understand the anatomy of a typical wall op

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Valid Driver's License, Pass an initial drug screening, Pass a criminal history check
-Efficient Communication Skills
-Attention to detail & Common Sense
-Enjoys Organizing & Cleaning
-Resourceful
