Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Shift: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm

Pay: $18.50

Summary:

The Warehouse Associate with Preferred Forklift Experience is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in products, and staging them for loading into storage containers.
• Loading certain items into storage containers until needed.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible, clean, organized, and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
• Clearly mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (trash removal, general cleaning).
• Must be able to read labels and SKUs to ensure proper placement in staging.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to drive large warehouse equipment safely and within OSHA and KPS guidelines.
• Must have forklift experience
• Must be able to work in a Team-Drama Free environment!
• During downtime, one must be willing to find additional work that needs to be done.

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry/push/pull heavy material or equipment (up to 75 lbs.)
• Willing to be on their feet for the entire shift.
• Safety training, sales training, and proper etiquette coaching

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
