Maintenance Technician - up to $30 an hour DOE

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment within the building. They are responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing operations by demonstrating proficiency in the operation of all machinery.
• Monitor equipment and processes to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Familiarize oneself with and utilize Limble software as required.
• Maintain equipment in a safe and efficient operating condition.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on packaging equipment.
• Conduct mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
• Assist the Facilities/Chemical Production Manager/Supervisor with the installation and modification of new equipment.
• Maintain open communication with the Facilities Manager, provide support to department heads in operations, and collaborate with production team members.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits and pneumatic schematics.
• Possess a working knowledge of lockout/tagout programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role preferred.
• Proficiency in operating machinery and conducting maintenance tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Limble software is advantageous.
• Understanding of basic electrical circuits and pneumatic schematics.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures is desirable.
