Key Responsibilities
- Precision Machining: Operate CNC machines to achieve tolerances finer than .001 inches, ensuring exceptional product quality and accuracy.
- Programming and Tooling: Adjust settings, switch tools, and tweak programs to enhance production efficiency and adhere to design specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks and employ precision measuring tools to uphold our stringent production standards.
- Maintenance and Improvement: Engage in preventative maintenance routines and collaborate on process enhancement initiatives.
- Shift Collaboration: Ensure fluid communication across shifts to maintain continuity and efficiency throughout production cycles.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years in production machining, including extensive experience with NC or CNC equipment.
- Technical Proficiency: Well-versed in various CNC machine brands and controls, including DMG Mori, Cincinnati, Mazak, Fanuc, and Siemens.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred:
- Additional certifications or training in CNC machining or programming.
- Prior experience in supervisory or key operator roles.
- Additional certifications or training in CNC machining or programming.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of CNC programming, machine operation, precision measuring, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, robust problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong team collaboration ethos.
