Job Description

Are you looking for a job that provides meaningful work and competitive compensation? Consider a position in my State Farm Agency as an Insurance Operations / Office Manager. State Farm experience is preferred.


Responsibilities and expectations include but not limited to:

  • Being a goal oriented Team Leader, capable of assisting the Agent in managing and supervising the team while being willing and able to perform operations support activities.
  • Being a Team Leader capable of assisting the Agent in recruiting, hiring, training and supervising team members.
  • Holding the team accountable for production and service based goals and activities,
  • Fielding telephone calls and receiving and directing visitors


Other activities will include:

  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls with customers and potential clients.
  • Manage your workload and the workload of team members to assist the Agent in creating an environment where the team and team members reach production and service goals.
  • Lead by example.
  • Assist the Agent in evaluating team members.
  • Must be coachable and must be a good coach/teacher.


As an Office Manager with my State Farm Agency, you will receive...

  • Base pay plus commission/bonus

Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Evenings and Saturdays by appointment only.


Requirements:

  • 2-20 and/or 4-40 insurance license required
  • 2-15 insurance license required
  • State Farm experience preferred
  • Must be goal oriented and have a proven ability to lead others in a Sales & Service environment
  • Must be motivated to succeed by meeting or exceeding production goals to increase your compensation.
  • Must be dependable, and have a track record of providing excellent customer service to clients.
  • Must be able and have the desire to develop meaningful relationships with clients to set yourself and our agency apart from the competition
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Must have a clean criminal background as a Background check will be performed.
