About the Opportunity

The Assembly Test Operator performs Assembly cable electrical testing on all Assembly products using the test machine and program to ensure that assembled products comply in accordance with customer drawing, specification and purchase order requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Reads and understands SOPs, work instructions and requirements specified in the manufacturing traveler.
  • Handles the tester set up and verifies it works properly
  • Selects the proper test harness and inspects each mating connector using 10x-30x magnification for any physical damage
  • Runs the test program and performs testing
  • Notifies the test engineer if parts fail test and print out a failure test report
  • Participates in failure analysis with test engineer and performs troubleshooting; communicates with the appropriate department if rework or touchup is allowed
  • Completes the electrical test certification form after completing the test process
  • Performs point-to-point electrical testing per work instructions as required
  • Performs all other job tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as Travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
  • Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
  • Must be able to work overtime as required

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of testing in electronic manufacturing environment

Please note that this position may require prolonged sitting, as well as, the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift (4:00PM - 12:30AM)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

California Pay Range
$17—$20 USD

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
