Hot Tub Technician Apprentice

Our hot tub technician apprentice program allows new hires to get their foot in the door on a rapidly growing industry. Consistent ride alongs with an experienced technician allows you to see the ins and outs of the day to day work life of a specialized technician. Utilizing knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, hydrology and chemistry, we will help you on your way to earning a Spa (Hot Tub) Technical Specialty Training Certification (Pending a verbal, written, and practical exam) After passing a certification test you will be bumped up to a full fledged technician with an hourly raise, a company truck to utilize during the work day, and tools.

Job summary:

• Assists technician with in-yard technical jobs and deliveries.
• Keeps shop and facilities clean.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities: 

• Truck Inventory Maintenance.
• Truck onloading and offloading for jobs.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.
• Operates equipment such as power tools, hand tools, specialized tools and forklift.
• Participates with the team in training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Required skills:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write and perform quotes for customers as well as regular in house cycle inventories.
• Ability to operate applicable hand tools and power tools as well as specialty tools.
• Possess and maintain valid AZ Driver's License. 

Experience:

• No Experience Required.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Physical requirements: 

• Duties involve exposure to inclement weather.
• Physical work is a primary part of this job (At least 50% is outdoors).
• Requires heavy lifting of Hot tub components and team lifting with tubs as well.

Expected Hours: 35-40hrs/week

4-10hr Shifts
