Reports to Regional Director/VP
Position Overview:
Performs in-person psychotherapy services, including evaluations and ongoing therapy, to residents in acute rehabs, assisted living, and long-term care settings.
Serves as a consultant to other healthcare staff.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Performs initial diagnostic assessments with patients in facility.
Completes weekly follow up session with patients in facility.
Facilitates family sessions in person or via phone.
Collaborates with treatment team, interdisciplinary team, and Directors.
Documentation in electronic medical records system.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (Ph.D. or PsyD) from an accredited program in clinical psychology
Licensed as a clinical psychologist according to requirements of the state in which you will be
practicing.
Previous experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an outpatient setting preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer proficiency.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
