About the Team

Alaska Behavioral Health provides comprehensive therapy services for adults experiencing mild, moderate, and severe mental illness. Our services include crisis intervention, psychiatric assessment and treatment, case management in conjunction with therapeutic services, individual and group therapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy), psycho-social rehabilitation services, peer support, and vocational services.

What You’ll Do

• For Unlicensed Clinician I:
  • Provide community-based services to adults experiencing mental illness in Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Work on a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment planning, psychosocial skills training, individual and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and other services driven by client need.
• For Licensed Clinician II:
  • Provide community-based services to adults experiencing mental illness in Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Work on a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment planning, psychosocial skills training, individual and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and other services driven by client need.
  • Provide supervision for Bachelor level providers.

Qualifications:

• For Unlicensed Clinician I:
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field. AKBH can assist with providing licensure on site for Unlicensed Clinicians.
  • Pay Range: $60,000 to $77,649 depending on experience. This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to $15,000!
  • At AKBH, we offer comprehensive individual and group clinical licensure supervision for our behavioral health providers pursuing post-master's and post-doctoral clinical licenses. These include the Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker licenses, both requiring 100 hours of clinical supervision. Market rates for such supervision range from $150 to $200 per hour, equating to a $15,000 to $20,000 value. This supervision is provided as a free benefit to our staff.
• For Licensed Clinician II:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field.
  • Licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW required.
  • Pay Range: $72,310 to $93,579 depending on experience. This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.
