Safety Specialist - Electrical Distribution Construction
- $45 to $48 Hourly
- Full-Time
This position is responsible for the safety of all employees and contractors working on electrical distribution construction projects. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, and training employees on safety procedures. The Safety Specialist will also be responsible for investigating accidents and incidents and taking corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution construction
- OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Safety Training
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety procedures for electrical distribution construction projects
- Conduct safety inspections of electrical distribution construction projects
- Train employees on safety procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences
- Maintain all safety records and reports
