Research Associate III
This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading biotech company leading. As a Research Associate on the Molecular Diagnostics Assay Development Team, you will support the development of molecular assays with cutting-edge dPCR technologies. In this role you will plan and execute molecular biology experiments, perform data analysis and document findings. Ideal candidates will have experience presenting results to technical audiences and possess the ability to adapt and learn quickly while working in a collaborative environment on projects with a meaningful impact on reproductive health applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and analyze complex experimental studies that will advance the development of innovative molecular diagnostics assays and will ultimately benefit patients
- Collaborate with others and engage in problem solving/ troubleshooting efforts to contribute to the creation of innovative solutions
- Support the development of sustainable lab processes by participating in initiatives such as 5S, My Green Lab and the International Freezer Challenge.
- Follow good laboratory practices, to drive scientific excellence by ensuring the integrity and safety of work which is essential for a successful execution of our projects.

Requirements and Desired Experience:
- B.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar life science field, Master’s a plus
- 3+ years of professional experience, including direct experience with nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR.
- Experience with statistical analysis programs (i.e. JMP, MiniTab, R, etc.)
- Experience with Nucleic Acid extraction, NGS Library preparation, and/or liquid handlers a plus
- Skilled at writing clear plans, reports and SOPs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour
