Job Description

We are seeking full-time Peer Support Specialist for our Bryson City, NC Office and to provide the following services:

Provide community-based service for adults age eighteen and older who have a mental illness or a substance abuse disorder.
Provide scheduled activities that promote recovery, self-determination, self-advocacy, and enhancement of community living skills.
Provide wellness education via teaching problem solving, anger management, and other life skills.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED
Peer Support Certification
Valid driver's license to be able to transport consumers
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
