Event Bartender

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Event Bartender to join our team. As an Event Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests during various events, parties, and gatherings. Your exceptional customer service, mixology expertise, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our events.

Responsibilities:

• Mixology: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
• Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Bar Setup and Breakdown: Set up the bar area before events, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness. After the event, break down the bar and store equipment properly.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and provide change.
• Knowledge of Drinks: Be knowledgeable about different types of spirits, wines, and beers. Recommend drinks based on guests’ preferences.
• Compliance: Adhere to all legal regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs and preventing overconsumption.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators.
• Problem-Solving: Address any issues related to the bar promptly and professionally.
• Upselling: Suggest premium drinks and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the event.
• Professional Appearance: Present yourself in a neat and professional manner, adhering to dress code guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Certification: Possession of a valid RAMP Certification!
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a busy environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Positive Attitude: Approach guests with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate drink preparation and proper garnishes.
• Team Player: Work well within a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
