Job Description
We are currently seeking a Millwright to join our versatile maintenance team in Cambridge for a full time, permanent position with excellent benefits, a great team-oriented environment and tool allowances.
Responsibilities:
- Replace faulty components of machinery or adjust the clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Align machinery and equipment using hoists, jacks, and manual tools.
- Conduct tests on units to assess mechanical performance.
- Carry out preventative maintenance according to the prescribed schedule and complete necessary documentation.
- Assemble machinery and secure them to foundations or other structures using hand and power tools such as bolts, welding, riveting, etc.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment as necessary.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Offer guidance to all involved teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Hold a valid Millwright 433A certification.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and rectify them.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provincial electrical codes.
- Experience in PLC troubleshooting, hydraulic systems, and die repair.
