Welder APP YR 2 to Welder JM with C-Ticket Welding Experience

SUMMARY

Looking for Welder Apprentices YR 2 to Welder JM with C-Ticket Welding Experience.

Location: Fabrication Shop

Proposed Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $40.19 - $49.65 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP Matching, and education and training)

Shift:

Day Shift: 6AM - 4:30PM

Night Shift : 4:30PM - 3:00AM *Nightshift premium applied

Duties:

• Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
• Read and interpret blue prints to determine requirements of the job
• Knowledge of welding with Sub-Arc procedure considered an asset
• Understands how to read drawings, fit nozzles and piping, and structural
• Clean and check weld for defects
• Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be an Alberta registered apprentice or ticketed journeyman (or hold an apprenticeship or journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
• Alberta B-Pressure Certificate and current PQR’s may be required
• Current CWB All-position certification may be required
• CSTS-09 and/or CSO
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field
• Organized and self-motivated
• Must have a C Ticket
