Framing Carpenter with Fall Pro/Harness

Welcome to M3 Staffing, we are looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team. *Must have Fall Pro ticket & own a Harness*

Responsibilities:

• Installing Handrail & Skirting Down Plywood.

• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work.
  
• Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.
• Selecting lumber as per the requirements of the project and sourcing wood that fits within budget and meets style specifications.
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Liaising with personnel to discuss project details and timelines.
  
• Consulting other construction professionals to ensure the best possible results and the final product.
  

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Additional certification may be required.
• High level of creativity and excellent design skills
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
  
• Keen attention to detail.
• Blueprint reading skills is a plus.
• Able to use common hand tools and power tools.
• Must have PPE
• Troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces.

Nice to Haves:

• Have own vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
• Experience working on high-rise projects
• Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
• Live in and have access to sites in Vancouver and Lower Mainland.
