GIS Consultant - Testing Manager

Who we are looking for:

Locana is looking for a GIS Consultant – Testing Manager to lead GIS testing on a large GIS implementation project through all phases. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in GIS testing, advise clients on industry best practices, and lead testing efforts. Responsibilities will include:

• Working with client teams to review solution and data requirements and develop test plans
• Creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to support delivery of the GIS solution
• Work with platform and data teams to clearly identify, triage, and track defects
• Maintain and communicate reports of defects by severity, application, release, and other categories
• Work with other vendor teams to support deliver of the GIS solution

Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:

• 5+ years consulting or management experience
• Strong experience of test cycle management, including test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
• Capability to translate business and solution requirements into test scripts
• Experience in the use of GIS solutions including functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Mobile)
• Preferred experience with the ArcGIS Utility Network
• Preferred experience in gas or electric utility industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to guide an audience using clear, concise communication techniques
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Locana offers a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus, and highly valued benefits programs. We are also working to increase wage transparency in an effort to create equity and equality. The annual starting salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. Highly qualified individuals may have the opportunity to earn more.
