Job Summary
As a Software Developer you will join our cross-functional team in building out both our web and mobile platforms. We are looking for a person that is strong in Front-End to help mentor our growing team.

Job Responsibilities
As a contributing developer reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will:

Build a user-facing application with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Be comfortable communicating cross-company in a casual and respectful way
Given UI/ UX specs, build interfaces with awareness of our brand
Weekly, help translate goals and requirements into stories and tasks
Daily, have a strong team focus, work collaboratively and have a good demeanor
Develop, maintain and deploy the platform with the core team
Daily, write readable and thoughtful code with an eye on reuse
Integrate the frontend platform with backend systems, APIs, and databases
Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies
Interact gracefully with changing requirements
Iterate quickly and ship code on a weekly basis
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs for member support
Participate in constructive peer reviews, to ensure quality of tests, code and comments

Qualifications & Skills

Three to five years of full-time experience in Javascript technologies, specifically React/ Next, Node and React Native
Working knowledge of 2-3 different React environments is a plus
Experience in agile/scrum environments
Experience with databases and tools such as MySQL, Prisma and GraphQL
Experience with version control using Git, BitBucket, and/ or Github
Experience with peer code reviews
Experience working with User Experience Designers and Researchers
Experience writing Unit tests and working with CI/ CD releases is a plus
Working knowledge of HelloSign, Stripe, Google Drive and AWS S3 is a plus
Experience with scalable backend services. Exposure to AWS and distributed systems is a plus
